CM Models: Design upgrad, subtle changes, strong impact
CM Models just turned 10 – a full decade of scouting, casting, and growing with some of the most talented models across the globe. From Paris to London, Milan to Barcelona, and of course Berlin and Cologne – it has been, is, and will continue to be an incredible journey. We’ve met thousands of inspiring people along the way, and now it’s time for a little visual refresh.
What’s new?
We didn’t want a game changer – after all, never change a winning team. But we felt it was time to add a touch of freshness to our visual identity. One detail that always stood out in our model boards were the iconic black tape strips on the edges of the images. A signature look. But now, they’re gone.
Instead, we’ve chosen to go even cleaner. No tape, no visual noise – just bold, minimal design that puts the focus where it belongs: on the model. This small change breaks up the structured, polished grid we’ve become known for and adds a new level of sophistication to our presentation. It’s a subtle but effective shift that brings lightness and modern clarity to the board.
Why we did it
After ten years in the fashion industry, we know one thing for sure: trends evolve, but identity stays. With that in mind, we didn’t want to lose what made CM Models stand out – our structured, minimalist look, and our focus on talent. But we did want to evolve with the times. The updated layout is cleaner, calmer, and gives the model space to breathe. It invites the viewer to really see the face, the presence, the uniqueness.
And that’s exactly what CM stands for. Real faces, real people, real stories – told in a modern, timeless aesthetic.
CM in 2025 and beyond
As we enter our second decade, CM continues to grow. We’re working on new international placements, digital castings, creator management, and more. But no matter how much we expand, our core stays the same: clear communication, strong visuals, and the best new faces in the industry.
This new design direction reflects our values – calm confidence, clear vision, and elegant simplicity. And like everything at CM, it’s just the beginning of something bigger.
